Who is Nanny Crickets?

Meet Melissa

A lively Nanna to five, mother to three and hairdresser to many across Central Queensland. With a vibrant spirit and a knack for turning life's chaos into charm, she lives her life in rhyme, often using her busy mind—especially those restless 2 a.m. moments—to craft playful, heartfelt stories. Her writing weaves joy, wit, and meaningful lessons into tales that spark imagination and connection for children and families alike.  Whether through a twist of words or a playful rhyme, she aims to leave readers with something to remember— and share.
